Reading the routing table, administrative distance, metrics, and longest prefix match.

One solved question, so you can see how these are marked

A router's table contains 10.1.1.0/24 via OSPF, 10.1.0.0/16 via EIGRP, and 0.0.0.0/0 as a static default. Which entry is used to forward a packet to 10.1.1.55?

10.1.1.0/24, because it is the longest prefix match

Ordinary destination-based forwarding selects the longest matching installed prefix: /24 here. Administrative distance compares route sources for the same prefix during route selection; it does not make an installed /16 beat an installed matching /24.

Every question in the set below is marked like this. The answers stay hidden until you pick one.
