Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LabFabric (the “Service”), a platform that lets you reserve and access scheduled EVE-NG networking lab sessions. The Service is operated by LabFabric (“LabFabric”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By booking a session, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (including the email address you book with, which is used to grant lab access) and for all activity that takes place under your booking. Keep your access credentials confidential and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
2. The Service
LabFabric provides time-limited, scheduled access to pre-built virtual networking laboratories. When you book a session, we reserve a slot for you and open access to the lab environment for the booked time window. Access is granted to the email address associated with your booking and opens shortly before your session start time. Lab environments, available topologies, session lengths, and pricing are described on the Service and may change from time to time.
3. Bookings, pricing & payment
- Prices are shown on the Service at the time of booking. We may display prices in more than one currency; the currency and amount charged are confirmed at checkout.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Stripe. By paying, you agree to Stripe’s terms. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- A booking is confirmed only once payment has completed successfully. Until then, a slot may be held temporarily and released if payment is not completed.
- You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase unless stated otherwise.
4. Cancellations & refunds
To cancel a confirmed booking, contact us at [email protected] before your session begins. Where a booking is cancelled before the session has started, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method via Stripe; refunds typically take several business days to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Sessions that have already started or completed, and no-shows, are generally non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law. If a session is unavailable due to a fault on our side, you are entitled to a rescheduled session or a full refund.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
- use the lab environments to attack, scan, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any system, network, or service outside the lab you have been allocated;
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to infringe the rights of others;
- share, resell, or transfer your access, or circumvent the access controls, scheduling, or time limits of the Service;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source of the Service except to the extent permitted by law;
- introduce malware, mine cryptocurrency, or place an unreasonable load on the infrastructure, or interfere with other users’ sessions.
We may suspend or terminate access, without refund, where we reasonably believe you have breached this section.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its lab topologies, content, software, and branding, is owned by LabFabric or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Service for your own training and educational use during your booked sessions. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Availability & changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance or due to factors outside our control. We may add, change, or discontinue features, labs, or these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly set out in these Terms. The lab environments are provided for training and educational purposes and are not intended for production use or for storing data you cannot afford to lose; lab state may be reset between sessions.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profits, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
