CCNP Enterprise labs
and exam practice.

Test yourself against the exam topics, then diagnose the routing faults that are hard to reproduce at home. Nothing to install for the browser labs.

350-401 ENCOR

The core exam

Enterprise architecture, virtualization, infrastructure, assurance, security and automation.

506 questions across 39 topics

300-410 ENARSI

The advanced routing concentration

Advanced EIGRP, OSPF and BGP, redistribution, VPN technologies and infrastructure security.

361 questions across 15 topics

Guided labs

Work through advanced routing on prepared networks: read the evidence, make the change, then prove it worked.

EIGRP Neighbor Down: AS MismatchTwo routers connect over a live link and ping fine, but their EIGRP neighbor adjacency never forms. The configuration looks right at first glance.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labOSPF Multi-Area & RedistributionAreas and LSA types, route summarization, and controlled redistribution between OSPF and EIGRP.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labMutual Redistribution & Route TaggingTwo ASBRs mutually redistribute OSPF and EIGRP on the same ring. Learn why that creates route feedback, and how tagging and seed metrics keep it under control.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labMutual Redistribution: Breaking the Feedback LoopA maintenance link comes back and traffic to the server LAN takes the long way round. Fix mutual OSPF and EIGRP redistribution on four real routers without losing redundancy.CCNP · ENARSI · Live lab: real routersBGP Peering & Path SelectioneBGP and iBGP sessions, the best-path algorithm, and policy via local-preference and AS-path prepending.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labBGP Route Reflector ScalingRoute reflectors in place of a full iBGP mesh: clients, non-clients, and the cluster-ID and originator-ID loop checks.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labCisco SD-WAN (Viptela)Stand up the vManage/vSmart/vBond control plane and bring a WAN edge under management over a live overlay.Cisco SD-WAN · Viptela · Simulated labEIGRP Variance: The Second Path That Never LoadsA perfectly good backup path sits in the topology table and never reaches the routing table. Variance is the feature that admits it, and there is one condition it will never override.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labBGP Local Preference: Leaving by the Wrong ISPBoth sessions are up and both paths are valid, and all the production traffic is going out over the cheap backup circuit. Every earlier tiebreak is level, so the decision fell all the way to the bottom of the algorithm.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labIP SLA Tracking: The Brownout a Floating Route Cannot SeeThe interface stays up, so the primary route never withdraws and the backup never installs. The site is offline while the routing table looks exactly as it was designed to look.CCNP · ENARSI · Simulated labCisco Catalyst CenterThe controller almost no one can home-lab. Our full Catalyst Center and SD-Access environment is being prepared for launch.Cisco DNAC · SD-Access · Coming soon

Questions about CCNP practice

Which exam should I start with?

ENCOR is the core exam for CCNP Enterprise, and ENARSI is one of the concentration exams you can pair with it. Start with ENCOR if you have not chosen a concentration. Start with ENARSI if advanced routing is the part you want to practise now.

Do I need the CCNA first?

Cisco does not set a formal prerequisite for CCNP Enterprise, but these labs assume you are comfortable with CCNA-level switching and routing. If that feels shaky, begin with the CCNA path.

Are the labs simulated or real?

Each lab above is labelled. Simulated labs model the commands their fault needs and run in your browser. Live labs start real routers for your session. Virtual labs need a booked hosted session.

What can I try for free?

Try 50 practice questions free across the site. A free account opens five guided labs of your choice, including the fix for each one. Live labs are not part of that: they need an Exam or Year pass. Hosted network lab sessions are purchased separately.
