Designing Cisco Enterprise Networks

Duration: 5 DaysAvailability: 24 PodsResources: 8 vCPU · 16 GB RAM

Overview

ENSLD is the design-track CCNP Enterprise exam: routing protocol design, network services, security and SD-Access architecture, all worked through on a real multi-router topology so trade-offs have visible consequences.

Images included

  • Cisco IOS-XE routers and switches (IOSv/IOL images) in a multi-router, multi-switch topology
  • A Cisco CSR1000v router image for WAN-edge design scenarios
  • A Cisco WLC (virtual) image for wireless design considerations

Environment & resources

A multi-router, multi-switch topology sized for redundant-path and convergence testing, so a routing or HA design choice can be validated by breaking a link and watching it reconverge.

Intermediate pod · 8 vCPU · 16 GB RAM

Mixed topologies: routers and switches alongside a firewall or application server.

FAQ

Is SD-Access design covered here or in the SD-Access labs?

This lab covers SD-Access at a design/architecture level; hands-on SD-Access fabric building is covered in the dedicated SD-Access labs.

How is this different from ENCOR?

ENCOR is implementation-focused; ENSLD gives you room to design and justify the architecture behind similar technologies.
