Implementing and Operating Cisco Service Provider Network Core Technologies
Overview
The core pod for CCNP/CCIE Service Provider: a real SP backbone with IS-IS/OSPF, MPLS, segment routing and L2/L3 VPN services on Cisco IOS-XR-class gear, the scale and features an enterprise pod never exposes.

Environment & resources
A multi-node provider backbone (core, provider-edge and customer-edge roles) running MPLS and segment routing, so label switching and VPN services behave as they would in a real carrier network.
Mixed topologies: routers and switches alongside a firewall or application server.
FAQ
Does this use IOS-XR?
The pod is built around IOS-XR-class service-provider platforms and features (segment routing, L3VPN, TE), matching the SPCOR blueprint.
Do I need enterprise routing experience first?
CCNP-level routing (OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS basics) is assumed. This pod takes those to provider scale.
